My professional life has never followed a conventional path.
At first glance, computer science, couture design, interiors and property development appear unrelated. To me, they have always been connected by a common theme: understanding people, solving problems and creating something better than what existed before.
I graduated in Computer Science Engineering at a time when software was beginning to transform how businesses operated.
My final-year project involved developing a computer-aided hospital management system that replaced paper-based processes with a structured digital environment. Long before digital transformation became a common phrase, I was already interested in systems, workflows and the way information moved through organisations.
In 1995, I founded a couture design studio in Hyderabad.
Over the following decade, I worked with hundreds of private clients, building a business based on relationships, referrals and attention to individual needs rather than trends.
The transition into interiors happened naturally. Many clients later sought advice on their homes, leading to the design of multiple luxury residences.
These experiences reinforced a simple belief:
The largest independent project I undertook was Smritinsha, a twelve-residence residential development in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Conceived, funded, designed and delivered without bank finance, the project combined design thinking, stakeholder management, commercial judgement, negotiation, problem solving and execution.
More importantly, it demonstrated the ability to carry a complex undertaking from concept to completion.
Nearly two decades later, the building remains occupied and operational.
The industries changed.
The underlying work did not.
Whether building software, creating garments, designing homes or delivering a residential development, the process remained remarkably similar:

Today my interests extend beyond traditional development and design.
I am particularly interested in the intersection of human judgement, business processes and emerging AI technologies.
Recent work has focused on using AI tools to organise information, streamline workflows, improve communication and accelerate decision-making.
I believe the greatest opportunities will belong to people who can combine human insight with technological capability.
I have never been interested in fitting neatly within a single professional label.
What interests me is understanding how things work, identifying what can be improved and finding a practical way to make that improvement happen.
Sometimes that has meant writing software.
Sometimes it has meant designing clothing.
Sometimes it has meant designing homes.
And sometimes it has meant building an entire residential development because the one I wanted did not exist.
The industries changed.
The purpose remained the same:
